About Highland & Elevate

The basics

Elevate is a series of health tech showcases that bring technology suppliers directly into NHS organisations for a day of whole-organisation engagement. Showcasing innovation curated for trust needs, major technology companies and niche innovators meet hundreds of staff organisation-wide. Conversations and insight from the day help to inform trust digital and clinical strategy and digital and clinical priorities. The model is inspiring NHS providers and suppliers alike who value the depth of engagement, access, insight, and impact. Elevate is now being rolled out with NHS providers, hospital groups, and integrated care systems embracing a new way to engage NHS staff in the art of the possible.

Highland is a strategic growth partner for health tech organisations, that helps innovators succeed in a complex, changing market. Health tech organisations engage Highland to find their market, engage target audiences, grow their business, and accelerate health tech success. Highland launched Elevate to create a better way to engage the NHS in the art of the possible.

Elevate health tech showcases are curated health tech events. Highland works with trusts and other NHS organisations that are looking to build on their electronic patient record investments, refresh their digital and clinical strategies, explore new innovations, or respond to the government's 10 Year Health Plan and NHS England operational priorities. Highland has facilitated Elevate showcases at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, Bristol NHS Group, and The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, with many more NHS providers now ready to open their doors to innovative health tech.

Elevate health tech showcases are much more targeted than trade shows. They give you the opportunity to speak directly with senior trust leaders, clinicians, nurses, and operational teams - engaging NHS stakeholders at every level. At a trade show, suppliers exhibit and hope the right people walk past. At Elevate, the event takes place inside the NHS organisation itself. There are no cold calls and no gatekeepers. You are not competing with a larger stand or bigger marketing budget - the format levels the playing field.

Highland is planning to deliver 4-5 events in autumn 2026, and around 20 in 2027. As new hosting trusts are confirmed, registered suppliers are notified of dates and locations. You can register your interest at highland.health/elevate. Each supplier can identify which events to attend based on their existing NHS client relationships, geography, or strategic priorities - there is no obligation to attend every event, although many technology companies are returning again and again due to strong levels of NHS engagement achieved in a single day.

Exhibiting as a supplier

For health tech suppliers

Highland works with forward-thinking trusts to identify their digital and clinical priorities and the areas of the health tech market they are particularly interested in. Suppliers are able to participate if healthcare providers need their solution type. Healthcare providers are however open to seeing what the market has to offer - and are open to technologies that they might not know exist, and new ideas to solve their problems. The aim is to have no more than two suppliers from any one solution type at an event.

The cost of attending a health tech showcase is far less than the cost of attending a major IT show, where the opportunities for deep engagement are lower. Prices start at £3,250 plus VAT for a full-day NHS staff access (leaders and frontline colleagues), a dedicated showcase table, up to 4 attendees from your organisation, your brand on-site, catering for your representatives, and an opportunity to tell us who you would like to meet.

Elevate health tech showcases are built for strong ROI and suppliers are directing traditional marketing and conference spend to this model. Suppliers that have attended early events have been able to inspire staff in ways that help to inform the trust digital and clinical strategies. Health tech companies have seen further engagement post-event.

Register your interest to secure early visibility. Once registered, you will be notified of confirmed dates and locations as new hosting trusts are brought on board. Places are allocated subject to relevance matching with the host organisation's priorities and category availability.

Yes. Elevate health tech events are open to any supplier whose product is relevant to the host organisation - regardless of company size or stage. Smaller companies often find Elevate particularly valuable because it provides direct access to senior NHS leaders and frontline staff that would otherwise take months to reach through conventional routes. The curated format levels the playing field: every supplier has the same space and the same access.

On the day

What to expect at a showcase

Elevate health tech showcases are an unprecedented opportunity to engage with staff at all levels - from the board to finance, IT and operational teams, clinical leaders, and frontline staff. At the first event at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, more than 500 people attended and engaged with health tech firms.

An Elevate health tech showcase allows suppliers to demonstrate their innovations, technologies, solutions and ideas, and staff to engage with them. To add buzz and excitement, there are also often speaking and discussion opportunities for trust and supplier leaders.

Hosting trusts provide each participating supplier with a table, chairs, and power supply. Catering is included for both NHS professionals and participating suppliers throughout the day.

Each supplier may bring up to two pop-up banners (each no wider than 1,000mm); one multimedia item or demonstration set-up (for example, a monitor); and marketing collateral - brochures, handouts, and leave-behinds are encouraged. For queries about specific equipment, contact info@highland.health ahead of your event.

For NHS organisations

Hosting an Elevate showcase

Trusts are working with Highland to host local health tech showcases. Aims vary, but showcases are helping trusts shape digital, clinical and technology priorities, engage and energise staff about digital transformation, build on EPR deployments, respond to strategic priorities, and inform and build their digital and clinical strategies with insight drawn from the whole workforce, not just the digital team.

Highland manages the full supplier curation, matching, and event logistics. The host organisation provides the venue and promotes attendance to their own staff. Express your interest in hosting and the team will be in touch. There is zero direct cost to the NHS.

There is no direct cost to the NHS organisation to host an Elevate event. Highland provides a project manager, and covers event management, supplier curation, and logistics. The host trust provides the venue space and promotes the event to their own staff. Catering for NHS staff on the day is also covered.

Contact the Highland team directly: email info@highland.health or call +44 (0)208 103 1011. Or visit the host page for full details and to register your interest.
